HEALING IS JUST A TOUCH AWAY
Go beyond traditional physical therapy
Welcome!
The vision of Healing Touch Physical Therapy and Wellness is to help clients live their best life. We have a special focus on women who are pregnant and postpartum. As moms, we hear all the issues that have become a norm from peeing with a cough, sneeze or laugh to not being able to jump on the trampoline with your children to having pain during intimacy with your husband. Our goal is to break the norms and help moms feel like themselves again.
During pregnancy the body changes and things move to make room for baby. This can be uncomfortable. Some discomfort may be acceptable during pregnancy, but there are many ways to reduce discomfort and pain to make those 9 months enjoyable. After baby comes, we can aid in getting your body in alignment to reduce pains or discomforts during mom life. And remember, if you have had a child you are postpartum, whether the child is 2 days old or 20 years old. Stop living with pain, discomfort or inconvenience. Let us help you get back to living your best life. We know getting out of the house with a newborn or more than one child can be challenging so we will come to you. Schedule a visit during morning or afternoon rest/ nap time if that seems easy to you. If getting out of the house is better for you, we treat clients one to two days a week at All About Babies Birth Center in Argyle.

About Healing Touch

Healing Touch Physical Therapy and Wellness goes beyond traditional physical therapy. We like to take a holistic approach in looking at the body as a whole. Emotions and past experiences can play a major role and sometimes manifest/ take root in the body preventing complete healing or recovery. In regards to labor and delivery, any negative or adverse occurrence to a preconceived labor plan can cause those negative emotions to stay in the body, specifically the pelvic region. Through introspection and processing along with gentle touch we can help heal the body and get you feeling like yourself again. If you’ve had wonderful birthing experiences, yet still don’t feel like yourself, we can help bring awareness back to your body. The owner, Kim Robbins, is an experienced Physical Therapist with a doctorate in Physical Therapy and she is a Birth Healing Specialist. Her passion is what formed Healing Touch Physical Therapy and Wellness.
